2.25" Leveling Kit & 35% Window Tint

Today was exciting. We took the truck to Innovative Autoworks to install my 2.25″ ReadyLift spacer kit. I picked them up from Stage3Motorsports for $159.00. While there, I had them add 35% tint to the front windows. I wanted them to match the factory rear tint (~20%), but unfortunately, that’s too dark for our local police. Ask me how I know.

I decided to go with a leveling kit instead of a lift kit for now. Ultimately, I’m pretty sure that I want to install a 4″ or 6″ inch lift kit, but that’s not an inexpensive endeavor. I’m also not sold on cutting the frame. So for now, I opted to at least eliminate the factory raked stance.

Special Edition OEM SVT Raptor Wheels

I also installed the Special Edition OEM SVT Raptor wheels from a 2014 Ford Raptor that comes with 315/70 R17 BFGoodrich KO2s. The tires are just shy of 35″, and thanks to their offset, they fill the wheel wells without any trimming being necessary. Lastly, we removed the OEM front diffuser.

It’s exciting to see how some simple modifications can give the truck a much more aggressive road presence.
